The newly renovated McDonald’s in Riverdale has opened.

According to Mike Freeman, who along with his wife, Elizabeth, are owners, this high-tech restaurant investment cost over $1 million.

Customers entering the new fast food restaurant will have an experience of the future, as they prepare to order their meals from the kiosk or from the digital menu boards.

They also will dine in a more spacious area with “comfortable seating.”

Modern decor can be seen throughout the restaurant.

Increasing speed and efficiency of service to customers is a major goal of this new high tech McDonald’s. The optimized kitchen layout allows for the goal to be met, Freeman said.

Another new layout feature customers will notice is the entrance/exit to and from the restaurant from Highway 58.

A grand opening is scheduled for spring 2020 with the date to be announced later.

The Freeman’s, who now own and operate seven McDonald's, said they are now planning a project for Clarksville in 2020.
