The Halifax County Chamber of Commerce and Industrial Development Authority of Halifax County will be hosting a SBA Loan Navigation and Resources Webinar on Wednesday at 10 a.m. The webinar is free to any business, but registration is required. No software is necessary to participate. After registration is complete, a link will be emailed to the registrant.
“Our small businesses are facing an unprecedented disruption due to the COVID-19,” stated chamber president Mitzi McCormick. “At the Chamber, we have adapted to a new way of reaching our members and disseminating information. We’re offering this webinar to provide an opportunity for businesses to interact directly with the SBA and a lender.”
Martin Short, lead economic development specialist for the US Small Business Administration, will navigate attendees through the Economic Injury Disaster Loans and other SBA relief options. A representative from Carter Bank & Trust will discuss the Paycheck Protection Program and documentation needed to apply.
“We are working in unique times and we are proud to partner with the Halifax County Chamber of Commerce in our goal of assisting the business community throughout the impact of the COVID-19 virus,” said Halifax IDA executive director Brian Brown.
