Mr. Malcolm Rowland Carrington of Saluda’s Lane, Clover, died Monday, June 8, 2020, at Lynchburg General Hospital at the age of 55.
Mr. Carrington was born in Halifax County on Sept. 7, 1964 to the late Mr. Beverly Carrington Jr. and Mrs. Saluda Dabbs Carrington and was married to Mrs. Wallicia Carrington. He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include one son, Mr. Malcolm J. Carrington of Charlotte County; one daughter, Ms. Kierra A. Carrington of Clover; one grandson, Kaiden J. Carrington; three sisters, Mrs. Ethel D. Johnson (Jerry) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Ms. Joyce C. Garrett of South Boston and Mrs. Janice C. Lacks (Ronnie) of Clover; two brothers, Mr. Shirley K. Carrington and Mr. Beverly K. Carrington, both of Clover; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, one brother, Mr. Lloyd H. Carrington and one sister, Mrs. Virginia L. Clark, also preceded Mr. Carrington in death.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, June 14, 2020, at 11 a.m. at the Carrington Family Cemetery in Clover.
Public viewing for family and friends will be Saturday, June 13, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
