Executive director of The Prizery, Claude Giroux, announced the hiring of Hannah Larkin Holbrook as the organization’s event manager in a Thursday press release.
Holbrook is a recent graduate of Morehead State University in Kentucky, having studied theatre as well as event planning and public relations.
Her professional experience includes being the Front of House Manager for the 84th season of The Lost Colony on Roanoke Island, as well as working with the theatre program at MSU, and The Paramount Arts Center in Ashland, Kentucky.
Holbrook brings a wealth of experience with her in theatre and expertise in management of banquets, community events and more.
Being raised in a small Tennessee town, she is familiar with rural life and excited to be relocating to Halifax County and joining The Prizery team.
Giroux said he “is thrilled to have Hannah join our little family at The Prizery.
“She will be an incredible resource and ally to our user groups, clients and anyone wanting to use the Prizery facilities,” he added.
Denise Hudson, vice president of The Prizery Board of Directors, believes the organization is fortunate to be able to hire a person with Holbrook’s skills.
“She will be an incredible asset to not only The Prizery, but our community and region,” said Hudson.
