The Southern Virginia GO Region 3 Executive Committee will meet virtually by Zoom on Wednesday at 10 a.m. The meeting is open to the public.

The meeting is for the purpose of conducting the business of the Council as authorized by the March 23, 2020 Opinion of the Attorney General, citing “Code § 2.23708.2 (A)(3) of the Code of Virginia, (which) permits public bodies that are unable to assemble in person because of the unique characteristics of the COVID-19 virus to meet electronically to make decisions that must be made immediately and where failure to do so could result in irrevocable public harm.”

The council will receive reports from specific committees and review and act on project applications.

The Region 3 Council may elect to go into executive session for discussion about the Project Pipeline and personnel matters. The Council’s agenda packet will be available for review on April 10, 2020 on the GO Virginia Region 3 website (www.govirginia3.org).
