South Boston welcomed two new businesses to downtown Tuesday. Divine Decor & More Home Furnishings Store offers furniture, mattresses and home furnishings. Heavenly Scents and Sweet Blessings offers candles, wax melts, wax warmers, home decor and keepsakes. They are located at 416 Main St. and are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday- Saturday. Contact them at 434-471-6466. Cutting the ribbon Tuesday are Johnathan Pumphrey, owner Divine Decor & More Home Furnishings Store and wife, Kelly, owner Heavenly Scents and Sweet Blessings. Joining them are friends and family, representatives of the Downtown businesses, members of South Boston Town Council, town staff, Destination Downtown members and community members.
