A 26-year-old South Boston man faces a charge of following too close following a two-vehicle wreck that occurred March 19 at 6:53 p.m. on Bill Tuck Highway at John Randolph Blvd.

According to an accident report filed by Virginia state trooper L. V. Pambid, 54-year-old Karen Allen of South Boston was stopped at a red light in a 2018 Honda Pilot when she was struck in the rear by a Kia Optima driven by Robert Bunker.

Neither driver was injured.

Pambid estimated damage to the Kia at $2,500 and damage to the Honda at $100.
