Cluster Springs Elementary School salutes veterans

A packed gym at Cluster Springs Elementary School helped to honor all veterans Thursday.
The third grade students presented a program to salute veterans.
Denise Ferrell, music teacher, read the book, “America’s White Table” as students reenacted parts of it by setting the table.
A host of patriotic songs were shared with the favorite being, “American Tears.”
All veteran’s shared their names and the branch that they served, and were presented cards made by the students.
Each veteran signed the two copies of the book, “America’s White Table,” and these books will be placed in the school library for students to check out.
