Shoplifting charges lodged against SoBo woman

A 38-year-old South Boston woman faces a felony charge of shoplifting and a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court, according to South Boston Police Office records.
Wanda M. Hilber was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Friday, and Officer C. M. Mann served the warrants the same day.
• Erica Ragsdale, 33, of Nathalie faces misdemeanor charges of property damage and defrauding Mecklenburg Electric Cooperative.
The alleged offenses occurred May 28, and Officer T.M. Carrington served the warrant Saturday.
• Brenda C. Poole, 58, of South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public.
The alleged offense occurred Friday, and Officer T.W. Bush served the warrant the same day.
