Two Nathalie men face felony charges

Two Nathalie men face felony charges after an alleged altercation between the two resulted in a hit and run that occurred Monday, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.
Samuel Wilson, 60, of Shiloh Church Road faces a felony charge of failing to report a hit and run that resulted in injury.
Deputy C. S Hudson served the warrant Tuesday.
Cedric Jamal Johnson, 22, of Shiloh Church Road, faces a felony charge of shooting from a vehicle and misdemeanor charges of brandishing a firearm and recklessly handling a firearm.
The alleged offenses occurred Monday, and Sgt. Q.W. Clark served the warrants Tuesday.
• Scottie Leonard Terry, 30, of 109 Willow Drive, Clarksville faces a felony charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and misdemeanor charges of brandishing a firearm and recklessly handling a firearm.
The alleged offenses occurred Wednesday, and Deputy S. Edmonds served the warrants the same day.
• Tyrek Deshawn Wheeler, 21, of Mudd Street, Concord faces a felony charge of breaking and entering and a misdemeanor charge of petit larceny.
The alleged offenses occurred between Oct. 23, 2011 and Oct. 27 2011, and Clark served the warrants Tuesday.
• Rickie L. Compton, 43, of South Boston faces misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license, according to South Boston Police Office records.
The alleged offenses occurred Wednesday, and Officer T. W. Bush served the warrants the same day.
Compton was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond.
• DaQuan A. Wright, 19, of South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of marijuana possession.
The alleged offense occurred Thursday, and Bush served the warrant the same day.
Wright was released on summons.
