Halifax man faces stalking violation

A 44-year-old Halifax man faces a misdemeanor charge of violating a stalking protective order, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.
Dick Melvin Walker Jr. of L. P. Bailey Memorial Highway was charged with the offense that allegedly occurred Thursday.
Deputy T. B. Sargent served the warrant the same day.
• Wade Linwood Clark, 55, of Howard P. Anderson Road, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of making threats over the telephone.
The alleged offense occurred Thursday, and Deputy T. H. Clarke served the warrant the same day.
