South Boston man faces four drug charges

A 22-year-old South Boston man faces four felony drug charges following indictment by the Halifax Regional Narcotic and Gang Task Force, according to Virginia State Police Special Agent and Task Force Coordinator R. B. George.
Jaurice Ferrell of Bane Street was charged Sunday with distribution of cocaine, conspiring to distribute cocaine, distribution of marijuana and distribution of an imitation controlled substance.
South Boston Police Officer R. L. Lawson made the arrest.
Ferrell is being held without bond.
Agencies involved in Ferrell’s arrest include the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office, South Boston Police Department, Virginia State Police and Halifax Regional Narcotic and Gang Task Force.
