Coleman to keynote Martin Luther King breakfast

The L. E. Coleman African-American Museum will host the Martin Luther King breakfast at 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at The Prizery.
The keynote speaker will be Dwight Coleman of Nathalie, a member of County Line Missionary Baptist Church.
Four Oaks Restaurant will cater the full breakfast at The Prizery, located at 700 Bruce Street in South Boston.
Tickets are available by contacting Earl Howerton at 804-387-3808 no later than Monday, Jan. 7.
In order to be eligible for a door prize, those attending are asked to bring any type of dog or cat items such as food, toys, blankets or other things for the Halifax Humane Society.
Also non-perishable items for the victims of Hurricane Sandy such as canned goods, paper products or toiletries are being accepted in an effort to recognize Dr. King’s “Day of Service.”
