Geneva Rose Hamilton Coles

Mrs. Geneva Rose Hamilton Coles of Shady Lane, South Boston died March 2 at Halifax Regional Hospital at the age of 75. Mrs. Coles was born in South Boston on Sept. 14, 1936, and was the daughter of the late Mr. William Carr Hamilton and Mrs. Mary Pounds Hamilton. She was married to the late Bishop Joseph Carlyle Coles and was a member of Ebenezer Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.
Funeral services for Mrs. Coles will be held Wednesday, March 7, at 1 p.m. at Ebenezer Christian Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. Andre’ Williamson and Bishop Thomas Hoyt officiating. Burial will follow in the Pounds Family Cemetery.
