Linda Moorefield Poole

Linda Moorefield Poole, 62, of Juniper Cliff Road, Brookneal passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Ms. Poole was born in Halifax County on March 13, 1950 a daughter of Walter J. ‘Bud’ Moorefield of Nathalie and the late Nell Cook Moorefield. She was a member of Brookneal Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Shane Poole (Belinda) of Nathalie and George R. Poole, III of Brookneal; one grandchild, Shelby Rebecca Poole of Nathalie; two brothers, Allen Moorefield (Angie) of Brownsville, Texas, and Michael Moorefield (Debbie) of Nathalie; six sisters, Jean Waller (Bill), and Dale Dalton, all of Nathalie, Gayle Seamster, July Wolfe (Arnold), and Nell Pennell, all of Brookneal, Cynthia Roark (David) of Gladys; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at Millstone Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Francisco Muniz.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at Henderson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Brookneal and at the residence other times.
