Mrs. Patricia Deese Crews of Nathalie died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at Halifax Regional Hospital.
She was born in Bennettsville, S.C. on Sept. 4, 1938 and was 74 years old.
She was the daughter of the late Julian C. Deese Sr. and the late Nina English Deese and was married to Kenneth N. Crews, who survives.
She was a member of the St. Paschal Catholic Church and was a retired banker. She was also a member of the Clarksville Chapter 145 Order of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Patricia Deese Crews is survived by her husband, Kenneth Nelson Crews; one daughter, Connie Crews Snead and husband Michael of Clover; three grandchildren, Erin Snead Anderson and husband Bruce of South Boston, Kimberly Anne Snead of Roanoke and Brad Michael Snead of Clover; one brother, Julian C. Deese Jr. and wife Sandra of Centralia, Wash.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Danny M. Deese.
Funeral mass will be held at Powell Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Ellis Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. W. D. Mills conducting the service.
The family will receive friends Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home and others times at her home.
