Mr. Clinton Dirace Moorman of Volens Road, Nathalie, died on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at his residence at the age of 62.
Mr. Moorman was born in Halifax, County on July 15, 1950 to the late Mr. Stafford Moorman and Mrs. Hattie Chandler Moorman. He was married to Mrs. Mary Jean Lawson Moorman.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Jean Moorman; two daughters, Ms. Adrella Williams and Ms. Erica Moorman, both of South Boston; three sons, Mr. Michael Lawson of Halifax, Mr. Marshall Lawson and Mr. Marvin Lawson, both of South Boston; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Geneva Coles of Charlottesville; two brothers, Mr. Howard Moorman and Mr. Theodore Moorman, both of Nathalie; six sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and devoted friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings, Barbara Chambers, Jean Cousin and Glen Moorman.
Funeral services for Mr. Clinton Dirace Moorman were held Sunday, Jan. 20, at 2 p.m. at The Crawford House Chapel in Halifax with Elder Jasper Pounds officiating.
The family received friends at the residence of Mr. Anthony Lawson, 1056 Marion Trail, Halifax. Public viewing for family and friends was held Saturday, Jan. 19, at The Crawford House Chapel from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Funeral services were by Jeffress Funeral Home, South Boston.
