Sea Serpents score another win

The South Boston/Halifax County YMCA Swim Team won its first meet of the new year recently, after sending 31 team members to Eden, N.C. to compete against the Eden YMCA Purple Penguins and the Martinsville YMCA Marlins.
The Sea Serpents scored a total of 1,803 points to win the tri meet, with Eden finishing second with 1,135 points. Martinsville scored 870 points at the meet and finished third.
The Sea Serpents had many time improvements with some swimmers improving in all of their events.
The largest time improvement was Maci Henderson in the 100 freestyle with a 14.91 second drop.
Cora Domenici had a 10.57 second drop in her 50 freestyle time.
Overall, the Sea Serpents had a total of 45 time improvements.
