The Last Train in Clarksville Railroad Club of Clarksville will open its doors to the public from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday. The members will welcome the young and “young at heart” to enjoy their operating train layouts.
The club is located at 101 Russell St. in the former “Old Wagon Factory” building alongside A&K Dock service.
There are modern trains as well as nostalgic Lionel and American Flyer trains being run by the members. Sizes range from the large “G” scales trains down to the tiny “Z” scale railroad. There is even a freight layout for kids under 16 to operate themselves. The public is urged to be sure to see the static displays as well.
The visit is free, but the club is always looking for new members, and donations are welcome. So mark those calendars and bring the children and grandchildren.
