• Halifax County Fairgrounds, South Boston … 109th annual Halifax County Fair Oct. 1 – 5. Music on the grandstand will include the annual 4H Talent Show Oct. 1, Chance of Snow Oct. 2, Mountain Highway Oct. 3, Tyler Rich Oct. 4 and Lawson Creek Band Oct. 5. Admission to the grandstand is free with paid fair admission, with the exception of Friday night’s Tyler Rich performance. Admission to this show is $5 for seats and $10 for standing room in the pit.
