Brittany Annette Tune and Reginald Braxton Phillips of Morrisville, North Carolina were united in marriage on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at five o’clock in the evening at the Barclay Villa in Angier, North Carolina. The ceremony was performed by the groom’s godfather, the Rev. Bryan Gallman, of Tucker, Georgia.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney and Barbara Tune of Nathalie and the granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Tune of Nathalie and the late Mr. Robert Lee Tune. She also is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Howard and Flossierene Britton.

The groom is the son of Mrs. Renee Gallman-Jones of Decatur, Georgia and the late Mr. Addison Jones. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Max and Claudette Gallman of Jackson, Georgia and the grandson of Mrs. Lucille Jones of Maringouin, Lousiana.

The bride, escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, wore a light gold strapless mermaid Morilee gown. The gown featured a sweetheart neckline, elegant embroidered appliques with edging and crystal beading on tulle and lace embellishments, and delicate cloth covered bridal buttons down the back, complimented by a beautifully cathedral length wedding veil, handcrafted with a delicately beaded crystal scalloped edge and decorated with silver beaded floral vine detailing. She carried a soft romantic bouquet of blooms including roses, hydrangea, dendrobium orchids, majolica spray roses in ivory with a few hints of blush, sprinkled with crystal beads all wrapped in satin and pearl pins.

The groom wore a formal cobalt blue Tribeca ultra slim fit tuxedo featuring a black satin peak lapel, black satin double besom pockets and black satin covered buttons paired with matching ultra slim fit pants, white vest, microfiber fitted shirt with black buttons, white bowtie and pocket square with a boutonniere of white orchids.

The maid of honor was Miss Melissa Tune, cousin of the bride, of Woodbridge. The matrons of honor were Mrs. Katasha Wyatt, cousin of the bride, of Richmond; and Mrs. Sherri Edmonds, cousin of the bride, of Virginia Beach. Bridesmaids were Miss Gabriela Jones, sister of the groom, of Decatur, Georgia; Miss Ashley Britton, cousin of the bride of Washington, D.C.; Miss Sheree Tucker, friend of the bride, of Arlington; Ms. Taryn Garland, friend of the bride, of South Boston; Miss Toria Evans, friend of the bride, of Raleigh, North Carolina; and Mrs. Porche Terry, friend of the bride, of Alexandria. They wore a long beach A-line bridesmaid dress with a blush chiffon skirt, a rose gold sequin top, wide straps with a swooped ruffle sash across the back. Each carried smaller versions of the bridal bouquet with blush and white flowers wrapped in blush satin.

The flower girl was Miss Riley Edmonds, cousin of the bride, of Virginia Beach. She wore a matching dress like that of the bridesmaids, with a formal champagne tulle skirt, a rose gold sequin top with crisscross straps and an oversized bow in the back.

The best men were Mr. Jonathan Jones, brother of the groom, and Mr. Wesley Timmons, friend of the groom, both of Decauter, Georgia. Groomsmen were Mr. Luke Caley, friend of the groom of Nassau, Bahamas; Mr. Rodney Tune, brother of the bride, of Woodbridge; Mr. Joshua Gallman, cousin of the groom of Tucker, Georgia; Mr. Cameron King, friend of the groom, of Durham, North Carolina; Mr. Fred Thomas III, friend of the groom of Liburn, Georgia; Mr. Derrick Fambro, friend of the groom, of Stone Mountain, Georgia; and Mr. Benjamin Scott, friend of the groom of Atlanta, Georgia. All wore cobalt blue Tribeca tuxedos to match the groom with black vests, black bowties and white shirts with boutonnieres of triple blush rosebuds.

The sign carrier was Mr. Jaylen Tune, nephew of the bride, of Woodbridge. He wore a cobalt blue tuxedo to match the groomsmen and a matching boutonniere. He carried a sign saying “Uncle Reggie, Here Comes Your Bride!”

Hostesses were Mrs. Brenda Fuller, godmother of the bride, of Nathalie, Mrs. Lisa Harper, cousin of the bride, of Knightdale, North Carolina, and Mrs. Marsha Thymes, aunt of the groom, of Norcross, Georgia.

Program Attendant was Mr. Xaviar Tune, nephew of the bride, of Woodbridge.

Ushers were Mr. Dashawn Matias, friend of the groom of Garner, North Carolina and Mr. Brandon King, cousin of the bride, of Nathalie.

Following the wedding reception, the couple enjoyed a two-week honeymoon in Phuket, Thailand.

The couple will reside in Morrisville, North Carolina.
