Katherine Blair Henderson and Justin Ewing Cail were united in marriage on Dec. 16, 2017 at five in the evening at Christ Episcopal Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Rev. Joshua Case and the Rev. Martin F. McCarthy officiated at the double ring ceremony. A reception, hosted by the bride’s parents, immediately followed at Providence Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Letcher Calvin Henderson of Charlotte, North Carolina. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Edwin Harvie Brandon and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bouldin Henderson. Blair is a graduate of South Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Roanoke College in Salem. She received her BS degree in health and human performance with a concentration in communications. She is a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority. She was presented at the 2004 North Carolina Debutante Ball sponsored by the Terpsichorean Club of Raleigh, North Carolina, and a member of the Junior League of Charlotte. She is employed by Pesta Finnie and Associates LLP.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Eugene Cail of Dayton, Ohio. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ewing Phillip Price and the late Mrs. Doris Bernice Cail-Short and the late Mr. Orval Waugh Cail. Justin is a graduate of Oakwood High School in Dayton, Ohio. He received a BS degree in sports medicine from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, and a BA degree in health and physical education from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He is a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He is employed by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School system.

Wearing her mother’s cathedral length Alen con lace mantilla, the bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. Beth Poore Rohloff of Matthews, North Carolina, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Emily McConnell Bridges of Charlotte, North Carolina, Katherine Coon Campbell of Atlanta, Georgia, Adrienne Coppedge Frederick of Gainesville, Georgia, Wendi Fridley Lewis of Roanoke, Jan Meier Murray of Gastonia, North Carolina, Courtney Cail Price of Centerville, Ohio, sister of the groom, and Erin Pesta Jones (Honorary) of Sicily, Italy.

The groom’s brother, Adam David Cail, of Cincinnati, Ohio, served as best man. His groomsmen were Kyle Alan Hawkins of Carmel, Indiana, Henry Edward Austin Henderson of Charlotte, North Carolina, brother of the bride, Eric David Hilton of Troy, Ohio, Nicholas James Huelsman of Charlotte, North Carolina, Errol Andrew Leach of Boulder, Colorado and Benjamin Lee Price of Centerville, Ohio, brother-in-law of the groom.

The groom’s niece, Emerson SookJa Price of Centerville, Ohio, served as flower girl, and his nephew, Callum David Price, also of Centerville, served as ring bearer.

Lesson readers were Elizabeth Ann Bowman of Greensboro, North Carolina, and Shelley Smith Winterer of Salem. Program attendants were Kimberly Blankinship Billings of Roanoke and Elizabeth St. John Serven of London, England.

Rebecca Carter Freeman of Traverse City, Michigan, cousin of the bride, was the soloist. David Scott Starling of Charlotte, North Carolina served as an acolyte, and Jonathan Griffin Starling of Charlotte, North Carolina served as crucifer.

On the day before the wedding, a bridesmaid’s luncheon was hosted by friends of the bride and her mother. That evening, parents of the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner at Olde Providence Racquet Club.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Florida. They now reside in Charlotte.
