The marriage of Miss Lauren Mary Lowe, daughter of Ms. Dana Wood and Mr. and Mrs. John Lowe of Scottsville, to Mr. William Mahlon Felton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hill Felton Jr. of South Boston, took place Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, at 4:30 in The Granary at Valley Pike Farm Market in Harrisonburg.
The Rev. Wayne Rickman officiated.
The bride was escorted by her mother and her father and given in marriage by her parents. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Teresa Cash of Staunton and the late Mr. Walter Wayne Cash and Mrs. Jean Lowe of Scottsville.
The groom is the grandson of Evelyn Simendinger of Fort Mill, South Carolina, and the late Dr. William Simendinger Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Hill Felton Sr. of South Boston.
Mrs. Leah Rhodes was her sister’s maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Miss Carson Lowe, Miss Katy Lowe, Miss Amanda Santora, Miss Kelsey deWall, Miss Kelsey Futrell, Miss Kahli Jones, Miss Kristen Arnold, Miss Joslyn Schwalby and Miss Kati Ellet.
Dr. Hill Felton III was his brother’s best man.
Groomsmen were Mr. Jarred Rhodes, Mr. Camden Wood, Mr. Miles Cooper, Mr. Beau Belcher, Mr. Paul MacCarty, Mr. Jeb Burton and Mr. Tyler Burns.
The evening before the wedding the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Bella Luna Wood Fired Pizza.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Granary at Valley Pike Farm Market.
The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in the Bahamas.
