The Halifax County Chamber of Commerce and the 39th Annual Virginia Cantaloupe Festival Sponsors and committee members are excited to announce that very few tickets remain for the festival on July 26 at Berry Hill Resort.

Tickets are $35 and include domestic beverages, craft samples, corn, cantaloupe, ice cream, water, Pepsi products admission and lively entertainment.

To enjoy the festival in the shade, individuals may bring a 10x10 tent that may be placed in a designated area.

Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. There will be no prior entry.

There will be a large tent with tables provided by Exquisite Events for those who prefer to sit down as they enjoy a meal.

Bringing lawn chairs is recommended as well.

Go ahead and dust off those dancing shoes or be prepared to kick them off.

Megan Doss will get take the stage at 5 p.m., followed by Kameron Marlowe and his band.

Jim Quick will then have the crowd dancing the night away until 10 p.m. with their swamp soul music.
