Five ladies from Grace Baptist Church traveled to Ecuador in June to serve with the organization “For His Children-Ecuador.”

Believing that all children are created in God’s image, For His Children exists as a Christ-centered ministry to homeless children, providing care in a loving and supportive environment, striving to unite them with their biological or adoptive family and advocating on their behalf to others.

The Grace Baptist team served in orphanages in Quito and Latacunga Ecuador as they ministered to the children and employees at each orphanage. The ladies all agree they saw God at work in the lives of the children at the “For His Children” homes.

A 2020 trip is being planned.

This trip, and other mission projects of Grace Baptist, was sponsored in part by the “Mission Closet Boutique” sales held at the church during the past year. The “Mission Closet Boutique” is a upscale resale shop held several times a year. Items available to purchase include, but are not limited to, new and used clothes for infants, children, teens and adults, small appliances, furniture, household goods, toys, books, etc with prices that will benefit any budget.

The next “Mission Closet Boutique” sale will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday and the public is urged to stop by and see the deals and help local and international missions.
