Members of the Halifax Masonic Lodge #96 donate $500 to the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office “Stuff the Cruiser” Program. This donation will go toward new toys, coats and gloves to help make Christmas more special for children in Halifax County. The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with Halifax County Social Services to help ensure that all children in need between the ages of 3 and 17 throughout the county, have a joyous Christmas. Anyone interested in this program, donations are currently being accepted. A patrol cruiser will be at Walmart, ready to be “stuffed” on the following dates Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Donations also are being accepted at the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through Friday, Dec. 13.
