New Master Gardeners welcomed
The 2023 Virginia Cooperative Extension Southside Master Gardener Association has a new class. The new members are (front row, from left) Miles Perkins, Rickey Carr, Vicki Whitehouse, Alonza Simmons, Amber Deel and Kathy Miller; (second row) Jim Seidel, Nick and Lisa Long, Alice Freeman and Taya Motowylak. The class will participate in 16 technical training classes and be expected to have 50 volunteer hours before reaching Master Gardener status. The next Master Gardener course will start in January 2024.
