PHOTOS: Sons of the American Revolution awards presented
At a recent meeting of the Dan River Chapter, Virginia Society, Sons of the American Revolution several awards and certificates were presented by Chapter President Gary Hall. A certificate recognizing 25 years of membership was presented to Douglas Powell.  The Fire Safety Commendation Medal was awarded to Dwight Spangler. The Meritorious Service Medal was awarded to Boyd Archer and Jeff Myers.The Distinguished Service Medal was awarded to Mike Geisinger. A certificate for exemplary display of the Flag of the United States was presented to Nelson Pulliam.
