Ellis Creek Missionary Baptist:  Parking lot service for the month of June will begin at 10 a.m. Pastor is Julian Miller. 

First Baptist, Ferry Street: Worship service will be at 11 a.m. Attendees are asked to wear face coverings/masks and practice social distancing. Dr. Allan G. Smith Sr., pastor, will deliver the message “Freedom’s March” taken from Exodus 14: 26-31. Music will be rendered under the direction of LaBraque Hairston, minister of music. Note the annual revival service scheduled for June 24-26, and the annual 155th homecoming/church anniversary scheduled for June 28 have been canceled.

First Presbyterian: Worship services will resume beginning this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Nursery and Sunday school continue to be suspended at this time. Jane Lyon will be guest speaker.  

Grace Baptist: Worship service will begin at 9 a.m., drive-in service weather permitting. Sermon is titled “God’s Watchmen” with scripture from Ezekiel 18 and 23. No evening activities on Wednesday. 

Main Street United Methodist: Worship service at MSUMC is TBA. Drive-in worship service at First Baptist Church will be at 10 a.m.  Tuesday. Parsonage cleaning day will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday. The administrative board meeting will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Tentative parsonage cleaning day will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.

Mountain Grove Missionary Baptist: All services are still shut down until further notice. A Communion service by phone-in will be held at the end of Sunday school on the third Sunday in June. Be very vigilant in protecting yourself and others as best you can. Praise the Lord especially through these trying times. Do keep up communications with one another. Mt. Olive Baptist: Sunday school will begin at 9:30 a.m. Morning worship will be from 11until noon. Service will be held upstairs in the sanctuary following social distancing guidelines. Pleasant Grove, South Boston: Pastor Eily will be preaching a message entitled “ A Faithful Father” taken from Isaiah, Chapter 43: verses 1, 2, 3, 7. Parking lot service will start at 9 a.m. until further notice. In case of inclement weather, the service will be held via conference call at 9 a.m. on Sunday. Saint John’s Episcopal: All church services are canceled until further notice in an effort to keep church members safe from the corona virus.
