Southside Community Services Board (SSCSB) held its fourth annual Art Show and Gallery featuring the creativity of the individuals served throughout Halifax, Brunswick and Mecklenburg counties.

SSCSB expressed appreciation to judges Karen Terry, The Colonial Center, Gwen Hinzman, Lake Country Area Agency on Aging, Trina Taylor, VCU Massey Cancer Center, Steven Wilson, Southside Wellness Coalition, Edna Neese and Dewitt Vanarsdale for taking the time to select the ribbon winners from the 76 pieces of art that were included in the show.

In addition to the art show, the event was combined with a Wellness Open House. Visitors were able to obtain information about the various programs available throughout the tri-county area.

Representatives from the IDD, Emergency CIT, Coalition-Prevention, Infant/Toddler, Children and Family Services and Behavior Health programs offered by SSCSB along with The Cancer Center, Grandparent Group and Medicaid Expansion Programs were present to answer any questions.
