
On Dec. 9, at the James R. Ingram Justice Center, Danville Circuit Court Judge Joseph Milam presents the Alpha Upsilon Lambda Professional Chapter with their charter from the American Criminal Justice Association-Lambda Alpha Epsilon. Attending are (front row, from left) Milam, Lt. Col. Matthew Wyatt, Taressa McNeal (chapter president), Danielle Wade (chapter treasurer and South Boston resident) and Shirley Redd (chapter sergeant arms); (second row) Jasmine Lipscomb, Joseph Jones (chapter secretary), Jackie Jones and John Wilt (chapter advisor). The Alpha Upsilon Lambda Professional Chapter includes 17 members from law enforcement, judiciary, corrections, loss prevention, higher education and college/university students. Their professional activities include community service and fundraisers which support travel to regional and national conferences.
