L.I.F.E., a group organized by Taquan Logan devoted to giving back to the community, is looking for 15 children interested in visiting the Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, July 30.

This trip is for children ages 13 and up.

Hundreds of donations have been given towards this trip and are still being accepted. Donations will go towards museum tickets, transportation and food.

Those attending would need to meet at Walmart at 6 a.m. to be at the museum by 1 p.m.

In addition to the 15 children attending this trip, five volunteer chaperones and Logan also plan to attend.

L.I.F.E., or Life Is For Everyone, began its community efforts by hosting annual school supply drives. Now it has branched out by hosting basketball tournaments, movie nights, sip and paint nights and more.

To secure a spot on the trip, contact Logan at 434-446-2886.
