There’s a Point
Commas give a slight pause,
Or so say “Grammatical Laws...”
The Full Stop does, promptly, its name:
Stopping when placed, all the same.
The Semicolon- hated for cause-
Extends the point of a straight-forward clause.
‘The grammatical points,’ says the select few,
‘Are simple and easy; nothing is new!’
