Well, it’s March, and spring will soon be here. This week I’m going to do some I hope you will like.

CHEDDAR CHEESE BURGERS VEGGIES

1 1/2 pounds ground beef

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 1/2 t Worcestershire sauce

3 medium green onions chopped

2 t peppered season salt

3 medium Yukon potatoes sliced thin 

2 cups baby cut carrots 

18 cherry tomatoes cut in half 

6 medium green onions, sliced 

Heat grill and spray one half of foil paper with cooking spray. Mix beef, cheese, Worcestershire sauce, chopped onions and 1 1/2 t peppered season salt. Make six patties about one inch thick. Place potatoes on sprayed side of foil. Top with beef patty, carrots, tomatoes and sliced onion. Sprinkle with remaining salt. Fold the foil over the patty and veggies so edges meet. Seal edges making tight fold again. Grill packets 17 to 20 minutes. Makes six servings. 

TACO TURKEY WEDGES

1 round Focaccia bread about 10 inches in diameter

1/2 cup chopped pitted olives

2 T sour cream

2 T mayonnaise or salad dressing

1 t taco seasoning mix

1 small tomato sliced

4 ounces thin sliced, cooked turkey

2 ounces thin sliced Monterey jack cheese with jalapeno peppers 

2 ounces thin sliced cheddar cheese 

Cut bread horizontally in half. Mix olives, sour cream, mayonnaise and taco seasoning. Spread over olive mixture. Cut sides of bottom and top halves of bread. Layer tomatoes, turkey and cheese on bottom half. Top with top half. Secure with toothpick. Cut into wedges. Makes six servings.
