This week I’m going to do some I hope you enjoy.
2 pints blueberries
1/3 cup sugar
1 T cornstarch
1/2 loaf French bread cut in 1-inch cubes, about 4 cups
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 t cinnamon
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Coat an 8-inch square pan. In a bowl, combine blueberries, sugar and cornstarch. Toss to coat. Add bread cubes and melted butter. Spoon into baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake 35 to 40 minutes. Serve warm.
I love good milkshakes. Sometimes it’s late and can’t go out, so here’s one I hope you will like.
STRAWBERRY MILK SHAKE
1 quart strawberry ice cream
1 pint strawberries, hulled
2 cups half and half
1/4 cup strawberry flavored syrup
In a blender, blend all ingredients until smooth on high, scraping down the sides of the blender. Serve immediately with whipping cream and whole strawberries on top.
