Three Halifax County men and one North Carolina man each face a felony charge of assault and battery by mob, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Arrested were 42-year-old Clyde Wendell Carden Jr., of Patrick Sims Drive, Scottsburg, 31-year-old Christopher Leon Mosley, of Finch Lane, Clover, 26-year-old Dekota Delquinn Delaware, of Mt. Laurel Road, Clover, and 27-year-old Devin Allen Foster, of Ephesus Church Road, Semora, North Carolina.

The alleged offense occurred on July 10.

Deputy G.L. Jones served the warrants on Carden, Mosley and Delaware on Wednesday.

Another agency served the warrant on Foster on Thursday.

• Robert Lee Williams, 56, of Lackstown Road, Clover, faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear on a felony/misdemeanor summons.

The alleged offense occurred May 3, and Jones served the warrant on Wednesday.

• Dontaius Austin Wiliams, 21, of LP Bailey Memorial Highway, Halifax, faces two felony charges of forgery of public records and one misdemeanor charge of identity theft: avoiding summons/arrest.

The alleged offenses occurred June 14, and Jones served the warrants on Wednesday.

• Steven Troy McNeil, 31, of Randall Lane, Lynchburg, faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear on a felony/misdemeanor summons.

The alleged offense occurred on Thursday, and another agency served the warrant the same day.

• Melissa Terry Snead, 38, of MacDonald Road, Scottsburg, faces a misdemeanor charge of driving while under the influence of drugs, first offense, and a civil charge of refusing a blood/breathalyzer test.

The alleged offenses occurred Friday, and deputy T.W. Crute served the warrants the same day.
