A 55-year-old Clover man faces a felony charge of kidnapping/abduction and two felony charges of assault and battery of a family member, third offense, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Mark Anthony Roane of Clover Road was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Saturday, and deputy T. W. Bush served the warrants the same day.

• Steven Andrew Cullinane, 30, of Oxford, North Carolina faces a felony charge of probation violation.

The alleged offense occurred Nov. 30, 2018, and deputy J. B. Ross served the warrant Friday.

• Kahlir J. Johnson, 30, of Yanceyville, North Carolina faces a felony charge of probation violation.

The alleged offense occurred May 10, 2016, and deputy J. C. Young served the warrant Friday.

• Danny Curtis Spurlock, 51, of John Logan Trail, Clover faces a felony charge of probation violation.

The alleged offense occurred Nov. 7, 2019, and Sgt. J. P. Adams served the warrant Saturday.

• Hunter Harris Groves, 20, of Nelson Church Road, Nelson faces a misdemeanor charge of bailee violation of release/pretrial condition.

The alleged offense occurred Nov. 30, and another agency served the warrant Friday.

• Samuel Velazques, 43, of Myers Road, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Bush served the warrant the same day.

A 20-year-old South Boston man faces a charge of assault and battery, two charges of destruction of property with intent, a charge of injure phone line and a charge of resisting arrest/obstruction of justice, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Jakari Tyree Boggan of Wickham Street was charged with the alleged offenses, and officer J. Butler served the warrants Thursday.

• Birnie Blanding Jr., 61, of Jupiter Street, Clover faces a charge of public swearing/intoxication.

Cpl. C. Collie served the warrant Sunday.
