A 40-year-old Danville man, Albert Lamont Lawson of Maple Grove Avenue, faces a felony charge of a probation violation, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

The alleged offense occurred April 19, 2012, and another agency served the warrant Thursday.

• Garnett Lloyd, 22, of Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred Oct. 26, and deputy C. G. Martin served the warrant Wednesday.

• Durrell Lamont Bowden, 32, of Leda Road, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred Oct. 22, and deputy J. A. Short served the warrant Wednesday.

• Markcus Anthony White, 30, of College Street, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Monday, and deputy J. L. Franco served the warrant Tuesday.

• Mel’quan Dean Burrell, 26, of Poplar Creek Street, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred Nov. 3, and deputy P. C. Clayton served the warrant Tuesday.

• Cristian R. Gomez, 24, of Newman Trail, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of probation violation.

The alleged offense occurred May 15, and deputy T. M. Clark served the warrant Tuesday.

• Peters Lee Huffman, 62, of Berry Hill Road, South Boston faces a charge of arson, false alarm, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Cpl. C. Collie served the warrant Wednesday, and Huffman was held on no bond.
