A 37-year-old Halifax man faces five misdemeanor driving charges following an incident that occurred Thursday, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Jarvis Maurice Hankins of Bostick Trail was charged with driving under the influence, second offense within five years, eluding police, failure to yield the right of way, driving on a suspended license after a DUI conviction and refusal to take a blood or breath test.

Deputy G. L. Jones served the warrants the same day.

• Ratheil Olin Totherow, 80, of Chestnut Road, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of violating a stalking protective order.

The alleged offense occurred May 6, and Deputy T. M. Moore served the warrant Thursday.

• Dominick Nashawn Walters, 24, of Monument Street, Danville faces a misdemeanor contempt of court charge.

The alleged offense occurred Feb. 8, and another agency served the warrant Thursday.

• Glenda Charlene Green, 34, of Old Cluster Springs Road, South Boston faces misdemeanor charges of a surety capias and contempt of court.

The alleged offenses occurred April 26, and Deputy J. S. Garber served the warrants Thursday.
