A 54-year-old Halifax man faces a felony charge of possession of a firearm by a felon and a felony charge of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, according to the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Robert Loranza Jones of Clays Mill Road was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred on Oct. 21, 2019, and another agency served the warrants on Oct. 27.

• Leandre Jymik Robertson, 30, of North Main Street, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court: failure to appear.

The offense occurred on Oct. 26, and deputy J.S. Garber served the warrant on Oct. 27.

• Sarah Elizabeth Hughes, 38, of Shepherd Street, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of violation of probation of a misdemeanor offense.

The alleged offense occurred on Jan. 22, 2020, and another agency served the warrant on Oct. 28.

• Deon Mitchell, 36, of Dryburg Road, Scottsburg, faces a misdemeanor charge of public swearing/intoxication.

The alleged offense occurred on Thursday, and Sgt. J.P. Adams served the warrant the same day.

• Germarcus Deon Mitchell, 36, of Dryburg Road, Scottsburg faces a misdemeanor charge of public swearing/intoxication.

The alleged offense occurred Thursday, and Adams served the warrant the same day.

• Kenneth Howard Trivett, 56, of Oak Level Road, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of violation of a protective order.

The alleged offense occurred Thursday, and Garber served the warrant Friday.

A 33-year-old South Boston man, Quinn Theadon Tucker of Lincoln Drive, faces charges of assault and battery and public swearing/ intoxication, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Sgt. A. Jackson served the warrant for public swearing/ intoxication on Oct. 27, and Tucker was held until sober.

Sgt. M. Bowen served the warrant for the charge of assault and battery on Oct. 29, and Tucker was held under a $1,500 secured bond.

• Jaquez Devante Bruce, 18, of Harris Drive, South Boston faces a charge of assault and battery of a family member.

Officer J. Butler served the warrant on Oct. 22.

• Kaaleb Allen Hendren, 21, of McPhail Drive, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of carrying a concealed weapon.

Bowen served the warrant Thursday, and Hendren was released on a $2,500 unsecured bond.

• Crystal Ruotolo-Sanataro, 28, of Powell Road, South Boston faces a drug charge of possession of schedule I or II substance, a charge of driving under the influence and a charge of having improper brakes.

Officer S. Kenney served the warrant Sunday, and Ruotolo-Sanataro was released on a $3,000 unsecured bond.
