A 19-year-old Halifax woman faces a felony charge of embezzlement, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Abigail K. Newcomb was charged with the alleged offense that occurred Dec. 8, and deputy W. O. White served the warrant Wednesday.

Lee Marvin Smith, 24, of South Boston faces a felony charge of embezzlement. 

The alleged offense occurred Dec. 8, and deputy M. A. Womack served the warrant Wednesday.

• Harvey Mark Perkins, 54, of Scottsburg faces a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Cpl. C. J. Yeatts served the warrant Wednesday.

• Kevon Marcell Boyd, 21, of Red Oak faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear.

The alleged offense occurred Nov. 3, and Sgt. J. P. Adams served the warrant Wednesday.

• Devin Michael Owen, 20, of Brookneal faces two misdemeanor charges of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offenses occurred Aug. 15 and Aug. 19, and another agency served the warrants Wednesday. 

• Dakota Kyle Boaze, 29, of an unknown address faces a felony charge each of entering structure to commit assault and battery, etc., possession of a weapon by a felon and grand larceny.

The alleged offenses occurred Dec. 8, and another agency served the warrants Wednesday.

• A 15-year-old juvenile faces a felony charge of grand larceny.

The alleged offense occurred Wednesday, and deputy T. M. Moore served the warrant the same day. 

• Tommy Clay Helton, 53, of South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred Wednesday, and deputy D. L. Clark served the warrant Thursday. 

• Roy Lacy Hill, 63, of South Boston faces a charge each of driving while drinking alcohol and driving under the influence, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Officer S. Kenney served the warrant on Dec. 31.
