A 23-year-old Halifax man faces felony charges of kidnapping/abduction and assault while applying pressure and misdemeanor charges of assault and battery and vandalism, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Joshua Arkansas Reeves of Chatham Road was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred June 21, and deputy T. B. Sargent served the warrants Thursday.

• Blake Edward Bass, 36, of Sandy Creek Church, Ringgold faces a felony charge of burglary and a misdemeanor charge of vandalism.

The alleged offenses occurred Jan. 8, 2018, and another agency served the warrants Tuesday.

• Kenneth Alvester Brooks, 48, of North Main Street, South Boston faces a felony fugitive charge.

Deputy W. F. Cross served the warrant Tuesday.

• A 17-year-old male juvenile faces a misdemeanor drug charge for possession of marijuana.

The alleged offense occurred Tuesday, and deputy R. W. Guthrie served the warrant the same day.

• Gabriel Brandon Brewer, 33, of Mason Chapel Road, Alton faces a misdemeanor charge of violating a good behavior provision.

The alleged offense occurred April 17, and deputy J. A. Short served the warrant Tuesday.

• Tatiana Crispell, 21, of Wilson Memorial Trail, Vernon Hill faces a misdemeanor contempt of court charge.

The alleged offense occurred May 29, and another agency served the warrant Tuesday.

• Ronald Allen Davis, 53, of Bane Street, South Boston faces a misdemeanor contempt of court charge.

The alleged offense occurred July 1, and another agency served the warrant Tuesday.

• Americus Dawshawn Murphy, 30, of Telegraph Road, Crofton faces misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence after a second conviction from five to 10 years, driving on a suspended license following a driving under the influence conviction and refusing a blood or breath test.

The alleged offenses occurred Tuesday and deputy T. H. Clarke served the warrant the same day.

• Charlise Donielle Sims Kirby, 31, of Ball Park Loop, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge for a capias to show cause.

The alleged offense occurred last Friday, and deputy P. C. Clayton served the warrant Wednesday.

• Kevin Monroe Murray, 42 of Link Puryear Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor contempt of court charge.

The alleged offense occurred July 8, and another agency served the warrant Wednesday.
