A 42-year-old Vernon Hill man faces a felony charge of grand larceny, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

John Richard Scheiderer Jr. of Ridgeway Road was charged with the alleged offense that occurred March 19, and Deputy C. S. Hudson served the warrant Friday.

• Jamila Mandisa White, 28, of Academy Street, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear.

The alleged offense occurred May 28, and Capt. D. H. Barksdale served the warrant Friday.

• Willie Jerome Ferrell, 38, of Union Church Road, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred Jan 1, and Deputy W. F. Cross served the warrant Saturday.

• Arie Lamartz Ferrell, 36, of Sinai Road, South Boston faces misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence and refusing a blood or breathalyzer test.

The alleged offenses occurred Sunday, and Cross served the warrants the same day.

• Tyonta Shakee Logan, 19, of Leda Grove Road, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred June 4, and Deputy J. S. Garber served the warrant Monday.

• T’yonna Shanquell Morton, 21, of Wilson Memorial Trail, Vernon Hill faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred May 29, and Deputy G. L. Jones served the warrant Monday.

• Shekta Maria Jones, 33, of Skyline Road, South Hill faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred June 4, and another agency served the warrant Monday.

• Brandon Morris, 18, of Hodges Street, South Boston faces misdemeanor charges of illegally possessing alcohol under the age of 21, driving under the influence and failure to obey highway signs/markings.

The alleged offenses occurred Monday, and Garber served the warrants the same day.

• Cecil Lewis Johnson, 49, of Cody Road, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public.

The alleged offense occurred Monday, and Deputy T. M. Moore served the warrant the same day.

• Frankie Wayne Wilkerson, 22, of Leda Road, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of trespassing.
