A 48-year-old Nathalie man faces felony charges of possession of a controlled substance and being a habitual offender, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Johnnie Calvin Clay of Buck Horace Trail was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred March 21, and Deputy T. W. Bush served the warrants on Saturday.

• Ebony Tionna Cherel Ogburn, 29, of N. Fork Church Road, Virgilina faces a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Deputy C. D. Wilborne served the warrant the same day.

• Quentin L. Lovelace, 42, of Williams Trail, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred July 8, and Bush served the warrant Friday.

• Travis Garth Noyes, 28, of Williamson Road, Bullock, North Carolina, faces a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Deputy R. L. Compton served the warrant the same day.

• Jeremy Owen Wade, 32, of Sunset Lane, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Thursday, and Wilborne served the warrant Saturday.

• Curtis Jermaine Hill, 35, of L. P. Bailey Memorial Highway, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Deputy W. F. Cross served the warrant Sunday.

• Heather Nicole Phillips, 30, of Edinboro Avenue, Lynchburg, North Carolina, faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred July 17, and another agency served the warrant Sunday.

• Shawntae Green, 25, faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of family member.

The alleged offense occurred Dec. 4, 2018, and another agency served the warrant Sunday.

• Lorie Ann Suarez, 42, of Randolph Street, Martinsville faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Deputy J. A. Short served the warrant the same day.

• Kimmika Lashonda Metz, 25, of Hamilton Boulevard, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred July 8, and another agency served the warrant Sunday.

• Kenneth Howard Trivett, 55, of Oak Level Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of making unnecessary noise.

The alleged offense occurred Monday, and Lt. S. M. Bowen served the warrant the same day.

• Donald Junior Walker Jr., 37, of Mallard Lane, South Boston faces misdemeanor charges of assault and battery of a family member and vandalism.

The alleged offenses occurred June 18, and Deputy J. L. Franco served the warrants Monday.

• Allyssa Brook Powell, 32, of Pooles Mill Road, Buffalo Junction faces a charge of being a fugitive from justice without a warrant, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Officer D. Blanks Jr. served the warrant Saturday, and Powell was held with no bond.

• Derrick Montez Perkins, 40, of William Chism Lane, Halifax faces a charge of driving while drinking alcohol.

Officer A. B. Jones served the warrant Sunday, and Perkins was released on summons.

Perkins also faces a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Jones served the warrant Sunday, and Perkins was held on a $1,500 unsecured bond.

• Pharrin M. Greene, 42, Halley Southeast, Washington, D.C. faces charges of being drunk in public/curse and abuse and disorderly conduct.

Blanks served the warrant Sunday, and Greene was held on a $500 unsecured bond.

• Gordon Coleman Whitlock, 56, of Sinai Road, South Boston faces charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and hit and run unattended.

Blanks served the warrant Sunday, and Whitlock was held on a $1,500 secured bond.

• Joy Nicole Sanford, 23, of Poplar Creek Street, South Boston faces a charge of larceny for shoplifting.

Officer J. DeSantis served the warrant Monday, and Joy Sanford was released on summons.

• Kimberly Renee Sanford, 21, of E. Bishop Drive, South Boston faces a charge of larceny for shoplifting.
