A 34-year-old Nathalie man faces a felony charge each of possession of a weapon as a felon and possession of schedule I or II controlled substance, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Jonathan William Johnson was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Friday, and deputy J. L. Franco served the warrants the same day.

• Tiffany Lynn Horsfall, 31, of Saxe faces a felony charge of violating probation.

The alleged offense occurred Sept. 20, 2018, and another agency served the warrant Sunday.

• Randall Blair Bowen, 42, of Virgilina faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear.

The alleged offense occurred Dec. 14, and deputy S. T. Comer served the warrant Sunday.

• Melissa Newton Howerton, 47, of South Boston faces a felony charge of driving while intoxicated, combination of drugs and alcohol, third offense.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and deputy T. W. Crute served the warrant the same day.

• Wayne Edward Hailey, 68, of Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge each of public swearing/intoxication and trespassing.

The alleged offenses occurred Saturday, and deputy J. S. Garber served the warrants the same day.

• Jessica Kaye Chappell, 22, of Nathalie faces a felony drug charge of possession of schedule I or II controlled substance.

The alleged offense occurred Friday, and Franco served the warrant the same day.

• Deandre Carr, 21, of Buffalo Junction faces a misdemeanor charge of violating a stalking protective order.

The alleged offense occurred Dec. 22, and another agency served the warrant the same day.

• Justin Scott Gordon, 29, of Phenix faces a misdemeanor charge of violating probation.

The alleged offense occurred Nov. 17, 2020, and deputy T. M. Moore served the warrant Dec. 22.

• Shonque Quonta Chandler, 35, of South Boston faces a felony charge of violating probation.

The alleged offense occurred May 27, and officer J. Butler with the South Boston Police Department served the warrant on Dec. 22.

A 40-year-old South Boston man faces multiple charges, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Ronnie Wayne Barber Jr. faces two charges of assault and battery of a family member, a charge of injure phone line/obstruct messaging, a charge of destruction of property and resisting arrest/obstruction of justice.

Officers A. Dunn served the warrants Thursday.

• Rebecca L. Johnson, 38, of South Boston faces a charge of driving under the influence, first offense.

Officer J. Throckmorton served the warrant Saturday.

• Demecus Terrel Foster, 36, of Scottsburg faces a charge of robbery and attempts.

Sgt. A. Whitmore served the warrant Monday.
