A 23-year-old Franklinton, North Carolina, man faces felony charges of burglary with felony intent and grand larceny, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

John Robert Epps of Elton Circle was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred June 14, and Deputy C. G. Martin served the warrant Saturday.

• Steven Richard Bartee, 31, of Copley Springs Road, South Boston faces a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction of justice and petty larceny.

The alleged offenses occurred Sept. 17, and Deputy G. L. Jones served the warrants Monday.

• Jennifer Lynn Francisco, 37, of Brad Smith Trail, Nathalie faces a felony bail pretrial service violation charge.

The alleged offense occurred Thursday, and Jones served the warrant Friday.

• Virginia Alease Fears, 54, of Jackson Trail, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of vandalism of telephone equipment.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Deputy J. A. Short served the warrant Sunday.

• Samuel Heath Fears, 31, of Jackson Trail, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Deputy W. F. Cross served the warrant the same day.

• Xavier Oshea Jones, 19, of Howard P. Anderson Road, Halifax faces misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and illegally possessing alcohol under the age of 21.

The alleged offenses occurred Friday, and Deputy T. W. Bush served the warrants Saturday.

• Timothy Ray Perry, 59, of Grubby Road, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred April 8, and Deputy T. M. Moore served the warrant Saturday.

• Herbert Jermaine Dunn, 39, of Mill Pond Road, Alton faces a misdemeanor charge of making annoying phone calls.

The alleged offense occurred Oct. 27, and Moore served the warrant Saturday.

• Nicholas Deante Jones, 22, of Pine Heights Trail, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred May 7, and Jones served the warrant Friday.

• Jared Lavar Newman, 22, of Jefferson Avenue, South Boston faces two misdemeanor contempt of court charges.

The alleged offenses occurred March 12 and March 25, and Bush served the warrants Friday.

• Christopher Andrews, 26, of Stage Bank Road, South Hill faces a misdemeanor charge of violating a provision of a protective order.

The alleged offense occurred May 2, and another agency served the warrant Friday.
