A 33-year-old Yanceyville, North Carolina, man faces a felony drug charge of manufacturing a Schedule I/II substance, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

David Allen Wedon of Wedon Road was charged with the alleged offense that occurred Feb. 22, 2019, and deputy T. W. Crute served the warrant Tuesday.

• Donny Ray Lillard Jr., 37, of Sminole Trail, Ruckersville faces a felony charge of possession of a Schedule I/II controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended or revoked license.

The alleged offenses occurred Sept. 29, and another agency served the warrants Tuesday.

• Christopher Lee Hammock, 36, of Clays Mill Road, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred Feb. 4, and Crute served the warrant Tuesday.

• Jermain Stephen Pegram, 41, of Sinai Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public.

The alleged offense occurred Tuesday, and Crute served the warrant the same day.

• Lashelli Murphy, 31, of Carrington Trail, Alton faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Friday, and deputy A. C. Dunn served the warrant Wednesday.

• Joshua Adrian Pena, 26, of Chisolm Trail, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor probation violation charge.

The alleged offense occurred Monday, and deputy J. S. Garber served the warrant Wednesday.

• Robert Nathaniel Jackson Jr., 35, of Reeves Mill Road, Sutherlin faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred Monday, and Garber served the warrant Wednesday.
