A 44-year-old South Boston man, Sherron Lakee Mosley of Wilmouth Avenue, faces a felony charge of entering a structure with intent to commit larceny, assault and battery or other felony, a misdemeanor charge of destruction of property and a misdemeanor charge of petty larceny, according to Sheriff Fred S. Clark.
Mosley was arrested on Saturday for his suspected involvement with a breaking and entering at the Fas Mart on Philpott Road.
Clark said his deputies responded to an alarm at the Fas Mart in the early morning hours on Saturday and discovered the business had been broken into.
A K-9 handler and K-9 were called to assist from Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were able to track the subject to a nearby hotel and arrest Mosley without incident, said Clark.
Mosley was transported to Blue Ridge Regional Jail in Halifax and was held without bond.
Deputy D. L. Clark was the arresting officer.
