• Joe Louis Fears Jr., 37, of Halifax, faces multiple felony and misdemeanor charges stemming from alleged offenses that occurred on Monday, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records. The charges are felony assault and battery of a police officer, felony strangulation: wound resulting in injury, misdemeanor obstruction of justice/resisting arrest using threat or force, and misdemeanor assault and battery of a family member. Deputy A.W. Dickerson served the warrant for the first alleged felony offense on Monday, and Deputy D.E. Drumwright served the warrant for the other alleged offenses that same day.
  • Ronald D. Williams, 27, of South Boston, faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear on a felony/misdemeanor charge or summons. Deputy G.J. Yancey served the warrant on Monday for the alleged offense that occurred on Sept. 12.
  • Sabrina Terri Prophet, 30, of Clover, faces a misdemeanor charge each of assault and battery and assault and battery of a family member. Deputy D.C. Armstrong served the warrants on Monday for the alleged offenses occurring on Sept. 18.
  • Brittany Cassandra Noell, 33, of South Boston, faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear on a felony/misdemeanor charge or summons. Yancey served the warrant on Monday for the alleged offense occurring on Sept. 13.
  • Kevin Thomas Jr., 19, of South Boston, faces a misdemeanor charge each of assault and battery and destruction of property without the intent to steal the property resulting in less than $1,000 in damage. Yancey served the warrants on Monday for the alleged offenses occurring on Aug. 18.
  • Bryant Williams, 75, of South Boston, faces a misdemeanor charge of sexual battery. Deputy D.L. Clark served the warrant on Monday for the alleged offense occurring on Sept. 13.
  • Monique Racquel Warner, 33, of Danville, faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear on a felony/misdemeanor charge of summons. Another agency served the warrant on Sept. 17 for the alleged offense occurring on July 7.
  • Tiffany Lynn Horsfall, 32, of Drakes Branch, faces a felony charge of failure to comply with conditions of release on bail/pretrial supervision. Another agency served the warrant on Sept. 17 for the alleged offense occurring on Sept. 13.
  • Tiana Nicole Chappell, 18, of South Boston, faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member. Deputy W.O. White served the warrant on Sept 17 for the alleged offense occurring that same day.
  • Alexander Seals, 24 of Keysville, faces a misdemeanor charge of not paying an ordered fine, contempt of court. Another agency served the warrant on Sept. 18 for the alleged offense occurring on Aug. 9.
  • Christopher D. Dunkley, 27, of Halifax, faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member. Drumwright served the warrant on Sept. 18 for the alleged offense occurring that same day.
