Authorities with the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a vandalism that occurred on the night of Oct. 21 at the Spainhour Diner on James D. Hagood Highway.
According to Sheriff Fred S. Clark, deputies found that someone had shot into the business.
No one was at the business at the time of the incident, and no one was injured, Clark said.
He also noted that the business has been vandlized several times in the past.
The Halifax County Crime Line has offered a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the subject or subjects responsible for the vandalism.
